AI Governance.
Framework instead of free-for-all.

The EU AI Act is here. The question is not whether you regulate AI, but whether you do it proactively or are forced to from outside. Governance is not a brake, but the prerequisite for scalable AI deployment.

Regulatory grounded. Practically implemented.

Why AI without governance becomes a risk

AI tools are purchased by business units without IT or compliance being informed.

Nobody knows which EU AI Act risk category their own applications fall into.

Data protection officer and management speak different languages about AI.

An AI error becomes public, and there is no documented person responsible.

What AI governance in the enterprise means

AI governance defines who may deploy AI in the company, under what conditions and with what oversight. It encompasses risk classification of applications, clear responsibilities, documentation obligations and regular audits. Since the EU AI Act, this is no longer voluntary best practice but a regulatory requirement.
The EU AI Act applies in full from August 2026. Companies should systematically inventory and classify their AI landscape no later than now.

Build AI governance in 4 steps

01

Create AI inventory

Systematic capture of all AI applications in the company, including unofficial shadow IT tools.

02

Assign risk categories

Classification per EU AI Act: minimal, limited, high risk or prohibited. Prioritise action items.

03

Define responsibilities

Who decides on deployment, who monitors, who documents? Establish roles and escalation paths.

04

Audit and review cycle

Regular review of AI applications for compliance, performance and ethical defensibility.
